I’m sure that some of you have seen my post about FreeEats.com, which is a service that sends out survey questions through text messages. For a while now, I’ve been keeping my eyes open for other sites like FreeEats, and today I want to talk about one that I found a few months back called 1Q. Despite the simple name, 1Q functions in a fairly similar way to FreeEats, but there are some slight differences, which I’ll cover in this post (along with showing you some payment proof).
What is 1Q?
1Q is a company that sends out survey questions and pays the users who respond. Unlike FreeEats, 1Q doesn’t send you a text message, because they have a phone app that notifies you whenever there is a new question.
How does 1Q work?
The company receives a request from a person who wants to get some fast market research done. Once they have the request, the app notifies the 1Q user that a new question is available. The user opens the 1Q app and is given a list of questions (the current one plus all of the previous questions that have been sent to the user). The user just taps on the new question and they are presented with another screen that has multiple choice answers to choose from. At that point, you simply tap the answer, and then submit it.
Is 1Q a scam?
Scroll up, look at the 1Q payment proofs that are above. Now look back at me. Look back at the proofs. Now back to me. No. 1Q is definitely NOT a scam. In fact, if you have questions about them, feel free to leave them in the comments and I’ll try to answer them to the best of my ability or point you in the right direction for answers.
Only $0.25? What’s with that?
I know some of you are probably looking at this and saying “why should I worry about making $0.25? That’s not much.” Well, no, at least not when you look at just the number. But imagine if someone were to walk up to you and say “do you prefer tacos or pizza”, then you answer and they hand you a quarter. You’d take it, right? Especially if they do it over and over again, because those quarters add up, albeit slowly.
Virtually free money can be hard to find, especially since there are plenty of companies that will promise you that you’ll “earn” free money, but then they just rip you off.
Does 1Q pay out?
Well, of course it does. Here are some 1Q payment proofs for your viewing enjoyment.
How often does 1Q pay?
Remember that magic that happens when you submit an answer? The payouts are instant. There’s no waiting, no threshold amount to hit…you just get paid immediately. While this isn’t something that will let you quit your job (because come on…it’s $0.25), it will give you a few extra cents every now and then. 1Q is definitely better than sitting around wishing for more money. I would say that this is something that would be good to add to your small collection of sites that pay instantly, like FreeEats, and just let this be extra income that you never think about. It’s not enough to make a difference, but positive numbers are better than negative numbers.
Oh…don’t forget to tap the frog in the app! Trust me on this.
