Free Stuff from Market Leverage
Welcome back! Have you joined my mailing list yet?
Forgive me for not having pictures, I'll have to work on that.
Oh, right...the beginning! Well, a few weeks ago I was playing around on Twitter checking out one of the folks who work for Market Leverage, one of the most awesome affiliate markets I've worked with. Long story short, there was a contest, and if you were follower number (whatever, can't remember off hand), you would win a sweet shirt.
Well, I won the contest. This week I was running around in my big rig, so I wasn't here when the package came. But when I got home...wow.
Not only was the shirt awesome (a very nice polo-type shirt made by Nike), but there was also a cool Market Leverage bag, a coffee cup (I was needing a new one), and a liquid proof roll-up keyboard (which my wife refers to as 'squishy')! I was definitely blown away by the bonus swag that came with the shirt! Nothing like free stuff to make your day, right?
Thank you, Market Leverage! On that note, if you haven't joined ML yet, why not? Not only do they provide excellent service to their affiliates, but they also dish out some pretty freaking awesome swag!

Contest: Balkhis.com Giving Away Great Prizes!
Contest fans, you know how I get when I find a great contest...I jump on it! I also share it with you guys. What fun is a contest without people being entered, right?
Anyway, Balkhis.com is having a pretty awesome contest sponsored by Market Leverage. The grand prize is new Asus PC. He is also giving away a sweet blue iPod Nano.
Head on over to the contest page and check out how to enter!

Milking Social Networks For Fun and Profit
I have a family/friends blog at a small social/blog network (that shall remain nameless at this time...no, it's not a major network, it's small). The cool thing about this network is that there are different groups you can join to discuss different topics, such as religion, politics, and other interesting things...like finding good deals on products online.
And this is where the milking comes in.
I have found in the past couple of days that this is an awesome place to drop ads from my affiliates, especially Market Leverage and Amazon. I tend to stick with the email/zip submits (because they pay out with very little effort on the part of the user), and the money just starts to flow.
Granted, it's not a bunch of money. However, it does generate something that, to me, is more valuable than money: the knowledge of how to make more money.
If you aren't a member of Market Leverage, now would be a good time to join and start making some money.
If you haven't tried this technique, I'd highly recommend you give it a shot. You really have nothing to lose.

Market Leverage
I've decided that it is in the best interests of my bank account to try to learn a bit more about affiliate marketing, so I've signed up with Market Leverage to see what can be seen.
There are many successful bloggers using Market Leverage as one of their main sources of revenue (see also: John Chow, et al.). I'm hoping to break out with the bucks soon.
I can honestly say that I need to work more on fine-tuning my site to be more specific in regard to advertising. I also took a little time to work on my 'about' page and begin writing a tutorial on PayPerPost, which I'm hoping to turn into a Squidoo lens...or maybe just a very good post.
Are there any readers who are using Market Leverage? Have you had any amount of success with them?
