OK, I know that I don't get very many readers total, but wow. The contest was a total failure...almost.
I managed to get three new mailing list subscribers - one of which never verified their email...and it's very difficult to choose a winner out of two freaking entries.
Here's what I'm going to do - for the two entrants, I'm going to send them BOTH the 500 EC prize.
I'm also going to extend the contest another month at least. Only this time, the prize will be a special MRR pack, which includes:
-14 PHP Scripts for your site or blog
-An ebook on building your mailing list
-30-Day Bum Marketing Blitz
-Auto Content PRO
All of these come with master resell rights, also, so you can potentially make some cash with this prize.
The next winner will be announced after April 1. This time, get busy spreading the word about this contest!
Seriously, if I don't get AT LEAST five entries (which are earned by joining our mailing list), I will either have to extend the contest further or cancel it altogether (which I don't plan on doing). So get busy!

I've decided to have a contest. Unfortunately, I don't have the hookups to give away snazzy prizes like iPods or laptops. Heck, if I had a good laptop, I'd keep it.

DNXpert is at it again! Another great contest!
For those who may be domain flippers, DNXpert is probably a site you are familiar with. The have some great content, and I especially like two things about them.
First, their expired domain lists are great for snagging recently deceased domain names.
Second, their contests rule! And you know what? They have just started a new contest, giving away a ton of prizes (including cash). Personally, I'd like to win the cash so I can finally get a new laptop to replace my Pentium 133 beast that has a non-working battery and is incapable of making the wifi work.
I bet you'd like to know how to get in on the contest...first off, head over to the DNXpert contest page to read the rules (and the overwhelming list of prizes involved in this thing. Second, you will want to register for the DNXpert forum (which is free) and chat it up with other domain flippers/buyers/sellers (this will also help you in the contest).

Winning Stuff
A while back I participated in a contest on Carl Ocab's site. I promised that I would update when I got all of my prizes, and this would be that update.
Yesterday I received my MP3 player (a Zynxz Prolynkz 2gb) in the mail, completely loaded with Ross Goldberg's Master Seminar. Now, I just need to listen to it and start applying what I learn to my online adventures, which have been suffering a lot lately thanks to my wonderful new trucking job. Woohoo.
I've been hitting up some other contests as well lately, and I've managed to win a $100 Amazon.com gift certificate from TenMillionDollarsG Blog! I can't wait to get that, because I'm in serious need of a new CB radio for my work truck.
Perhaps I should start a contest blog. What do you think?
