Magpie: Make Money with Twitter
Nov 4, 2008 twitter
I’m playing around with Magpie, which is supposedly a way to make some money with your Twitter account. All you do is sign up and give them your Twitter account info and Magpie tweets advertisements to your followers based on the keywords you commonly use in your tweets. Oh, you do have the ability to set the ratio of your tweets to theirs.
Fortunately, I have another Twitter account (other than my main Twitter account) so I don’t have to hand over my ‘real’ Twitter credentials…heh heh.
When you get to the page, you can enter the user name of your Twitter account and Magpie will give you an estimate on how much you can make (in Euros). Fortunately, my ‘other’ account is quoted at making over 400 Euros per month, as opposed to my main account (or John Chow’s…heh heh).
I hope this works out. If you have any experiences with Magpie, please share them. I’d like to learn more about how this system works.
If you like these posts and want to stay in the loop, please subscribe to my RSS feed and follow me on Twitter. And if you really like this stuff, you can buy me a coffee!
