Hitting the trade shows in 2009?

Many of you may perhaps be the type to set up shop at your local trade show. This can be a great way to get your products out to new customers, network with 'competitors', or just a great way to take some off-the-wall post-trade show pictures with your co-workers. Either way, if you plan to set up a display, you are going to need some kind of system to present your product. Fortunately, there's Camelback Displays to the rescue with their unique trade show displays.

Camelback Displays (from Spring, TX...just up the road from me!) has a wide variety of displays to fit your needs, from truss exhibits to banner stands, Camelback Displays can help your company get the right trade show display to fit your needs.

I know you plan on hitting at least one trade show this year, right? You need to be able to get a great deal on your display, so why not check out Camelback Displays? You'll be glad that you did.

Get off your lazy butt and do anything.

I've just had an epiphany. More or less.

I've noticed that if I want to make money online, then I really need to be doing a lot less planning and a whole lot more doing.

I have a bad habit of sitting around wishing I could make big bucks like Shoemoney, John Chow, etc. Heck, I'd be happy just to make a few more bucks than I'm making now - just enough so that when I go to work I'll have some cash left over at the end of the week. As it stands, I'm lucky if I have enough money in PayPal or the bank to buy a coke from the road.

Hard work will pay off in the end. Right now, I'm having a difficult time trying to keep myself as motivated as I should be, mostly because I have no way to work on my projects when I'm sitting in the sleeper of my rig staring at the ceiling. All of that time, just totally wasted. But without putting in some extra effort, I won't be able to get a new laptop any time soon.

Of course, one has been offered to me. I would just need to use an external keyboard (due to some spillage conflicts). I'm sure that would help out dramatically. It still doesn't change the fact that I could really use a new machine.

For that matter, a good used one would be great as well. I'm always getting used stuff though, and maybe it's a tad bit shallow, but I'd like to get something new for a change - just to get that feeling of pride when I'm able to plunk down the cash for something that I wouldn't normally be able to pick up.

I really need to focus on using my online time more effectively when it comes to making money.

What do you do to stay motivated?

Happy Holidaze!

Just dropping in to say Merry Christmas to all of you (or whatever holiday you may be celebrating). I need to write some stuff, and I've been quite busy lately. Sorry for the lack of updates. Sometimes work gets in the way of, eh, work...?

Google: “Net neutrality? What’s that?”

From the Wall St. Journal:

Google Inc. has approached major cable and phone companies that carry Internet traffic with a proposal to create a fast lane for its own content, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. Google has traditionally been one of the loudest advocates of equal network access for all content providers.

Perhaps Google thinks net neutrality is a good thing, unless they can bypass it to make more money. Hmm...I'm all for making money, but I'm also in favor of all traffic being treated equally. Ah well, I don't work for Google.
