Hey! I made my first guest post!

Kicking Myself…

The other day, I was thinking about a website that I used to run. It was an alumni site for my High School...it got a fair amount of traffic (not much), mostly from people who were interested in seeing who was doing what these days.
I also noticed that many of my users were also members of other alumni sites. Sites that charge money to allow you to keep up with your friends. *shudder*
Of course, that was a few years ago. And this is the part where I kick myself.
Why didn't I monetize that site? It would have been a great idea. Unfortunately, I was a bit less intelligent in those days when it came to business.
Perhaps I shall have to revive that site. I'm wondering if my host allows multiple sites on my hosting plan? If not, I know some other inexpensive hosts who's entry-level plans would do the trick for hosting that site. After all, it was a small school!
My question is this: have any of you had the misfortune of regretting a business decision you didn't make (other than Google stocks or something like that...we all regret not getting into that)?
Do tell!

Contest Winner Announcement – Weather Underground Membership
Wow...even though there were only 7 entries, it's still more than I honestly expected! So I suppose that means I have to pick a winner.
Thanks to the folks at random.org , we can randomly select a winner. I'm going to do that right now!
Please hold while I try that extension...
And here are the results:

URL Annoyances Galore!
Well, I finally fixed the URL issue (showing the actual path to the site on the server), but now I face another annoying URL annoyance - making the titles of my article show up.
I'll admit, I haven't done a ton of web-work in several years, so I'm a bit rusty. The thing is, now my address shows up as this:
http://thesugarbuzzproject.info
...even after clicking on an article title. I want it to look like this:
http://thesugarbuzzproject.info/contest-1-year-membership-to-weather-underground
What am I doing wrong here? The permalink URLs work fine, but they don't display in the title bar, which is what I want.
Grrr, Arrg.
Can anyone please help me?
Oh, the contest is scheduled to end this coming Saturday. If you haven't already entered, now would be a really good time to do that.

What? Another contest?
Just wanted to pass this alog...Chris Brandrick (from ChrisBrandrick.com) is having a contest as well.
He's giving away a custom drawn avatar. Wow, I wish I was talented enough to give away cool prizes!
Go check it out...then come back...please!
Here's a sample of his work:
